1. The service

The service provides unofficial, informational train timing data for the Kashmir valley railway line. See the Disclaimer — the service is not affiliated with any railway or government entity, and data is not guaranteed accurate. By using this website, or by downloading, accessing or using the app, you agree to these Terms, the Disclaimer, and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Licence to use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the service for your own personal, non-commercial travel-information purposes. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

3. Acceptable use — you must NOT

• scrape, harvest, mirror, or bulk-extract data from the service;
• use the app by any means other than the officially published app on the Google Play Store / Apple App Store;
• reverse engineer or tamper with the service, except where such restriction is prohibited by law;
• use automated systems, bots, or scripts with the service;
• resell, redistribute, or build a competing dataset or service from the service’s data;
• misuse or attempt to disrupt the service.

We may block or revoke access to anyone who breaches these Terms.

4. User reports

If you submit a “wrong data” report, you confirm the report is made in good faith. You must not submit false, spam, or abusive reports. We may ignore, aggregate, or act on reports at our discretion.

5. Your responsibility & assumption of risk

You use the service and rely on its information entirely at your own risk. The timings are general information only — they are NOT professional, travel, safety, or scheduling advice, and must not be used for emergency or other time-critical decisions. You alone are responsible for verifying timings with official sources and for your own travel decisions and their consequences.

6. No warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, currency, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability. Data may be wrong, stale, delayed, or missing. This website in particular is not maintained and its data is known to be out of date.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we — and our operators and contributors — are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, including missed trains, missed connections, delays, costs, or travel losses, arising from use of, or inability to use, the service or its data, even if advised of the possibility. Because the service is provided free of charge, our total aggregate liability for any and all claims shall not exceed one hundred Indian Rupees (₹100).

8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the developer, operators, and contributors from and against any claim, demand, loss, liability, cost, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use or misuse of the service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

9. Third-party data & services

Timings are based on third-party and publicly available railway data. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, accuracy, or availability of any third party. Railway names, numbers, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only for identification.

10. App stores

The app is distributed through third-party app stores, which are not responsible for the app and are not parties to these Terms. If you obtained the app from Apple, you acknowledge these Terms are between you and us only; Apple has no obligation to furnish support or to address any claim relating to the app, and Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms entitled to enforce them against you.

11. Changes & availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service, any feature, or these Terms at any time, with or without notice, and without liability to you. Continued use after changes means acceptance. We may require you to update to a newer version of the app to keep using it.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, including for breach of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Disclaimer, No warranty, Limitation of liability, Indemnity, and Governing law) survive.

13. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute with us informally by contacting us. Subject to applicable law, the courts at Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

14. General

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with the Disclaimer and Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between you and us regarding the service. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them to a successor.
